Therefore, we are working on creating a wide range of opportunities for representatives of SPACE to connect and continue to learn whether it be on advocacy, front line work or on key topics such as on organizing for legislative change, policy work, and or ways to amplify our voices. Our circles, whether virtually or in person creates a space for conversations and support, to share resources, knowledge and exchange ideas as well as providing trainings for survivors coming into the work.
Our goal is to not only increase the number of representatives involved but to build the skills and core competencies of our members in organizing and advocacy work. This would be a place, whether virtual or in person, for survivors to learn new advocacy tools, and ways to control our stories, to tell it, to create understanding that will lead to changing how we think about the sex trade, while building our collective power.
